  Originally from Chicago, I came to Wellington, FL. in 1990. Since that time, I have had the pleasure of making mornings easier by providing the best hair care attention for my clients, working first at Sam Jons Hair Salon and Day Spa in the Courtyard Shopping Center in Wellington. I was with Sam Jons a total of 15 years before moving on to open my own Salon Studio at Sola, conveniently located just outside the Wellington Green Mall. Apprenticing in the Chicago area back in the 80’s, I received my cosmetology license in 1983 from The John Amico School of Hair Design. John Amico created a phenomenal system of hair-cutting called “The Progressional System” which was a combination of Pivot Point and Vidal Sassoon techniques’. This system provided me with a strong foundation right from the start, allowing me the freedom and skill to stay on-top of the constantly changing trends in hair fashion. I became an in-salon educator for Hair Performers after quickly achieving “Master Designer” in their level system. I brought new education into the salon and was in charge of training new stylists. I continued to work for Hair Performer Salons until I moved to South Florida. I am a huge fan of texture and precision in hairstyles. Combining the use of the straight edge razor and precision haircutting creates interesting, unique styles with seamless lines and fluid form. I have crafted my razor skills utilizing Nick Arrojo's exclusive razor cutting techniques and continuing advanced education. I traveled to New York to be part of the first class certified in American Wave. This is an exclusive new texture treatment available as a certified service only. This amazing treatment is the very latest advancement in ionic technology and ammonia free permanent texture waves. I also enjoy creating exciting color palates within hair design trusting only the best advancements in hair color certified in premier color lines like Goldwell and Wella. Diora Keratin Smoothing Treatment is a versatile keratin line I currently use which delivers amazingly smooth and shiny hair with or without formaldehyde. I Love what I do and consider it a privilege to be entrusted with the crafting and care of my clients haircare needs and services. I really do get a rush each and every time I have the opportunity to create the perfect new look for a new or existing client - I believe having a great new hairstyle is like wearing your favorite outfit...everyday!
